“We had more than 7,000 ‘recipe hacks’ entered, from all over the country, which showed that people really enjoy Papa Murphy’s, and they love that we have products that they can customize when they order, and do even more customizing when they get them home,” says Leslie Thompson, Senior Director of Brand and Customer Marketing. “It was a huge win for us, and for our franchise owners, because they were able to really engage with their communities and benefit from all the interest the contest generated from in-store promotions with codes to download recipes, as well as all the social media campaigns we did around it. And the contest still has a lot of life, because we created a page on our website to showcase the winners and some other hacks.”

We wanted it to be a way for guests to tell us, and each other, how they would leverage all our products. It also was a way to get them to try additional products from the menu, so boost total visits as well as visit frequency.”
