Gritten opened his first store in Indianapolis in 2001, growing over time to 16 stores in Indiana, 13 more in Michigan, and a couple in Ohio over the next 18 years. He then relocated to the Northwest in 2019, and his partnership group now owns eight in the Olympia, WA area, two stores in Oregon, and now two in Idaho.

“We are excited about the opportunity that our new store in Star presents,” he says. “Star is one of the fastest-growing cities in America, and we believe it will be a strong addition to the Boise market.”

The Star location will feature Papa Murphy’s new “Kitchen Delite” open design, as well as the brand’s new logo. Both represent a brand refresh that’s designed to showcase how Papa Murphy’s continues to invest in high-level brand awareness, as well as building an innovative, engaging consumer experience.

“We are excited about the new store design,” Gritten says. “The interior look and layout of the store is very well thought out and is hands down the most beautiful store I’ve ever built. Watch for great things coming out of Star!”
